Scope: Xtend Training LTS “Live Training Sessions” model is basically bringing the same class-  room experience to your screen. LTS was built on the VARK approach of psychology of learning, It refers to the four  learning styles: Visual, Auditory, Reading/writing preference, Kinesthetic.

The idea is simply having a live and interactive video connection with the participants in which we present the material  and build dialogues around it.

Course Length: 1 Day

Scope: This training program is intended to provide entry level construction workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards on a construction site. The training covers a variety of construction safety and health hazards  which a worker may encounter at a construction site. Training should emphasize  hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards.  Instructional time must be a minimum of 10 hours.

Overview:

Introduction to OSHA 2 hours.

OSHA has required training content for this module to cover workers’ rights, employer responsibilities and how to file a  complaint. It includes helpful worker safety and health resources. It also provides a sample weekly fatality and catastrophe  report, a material data safety sheet and the OSHA Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses (OSHA Form 300).

OSHA Focus Four Hazards – 4 hours. Because most construction fatalities are caused by fall hazards, falls must be covered  for a minimum of one hour and 15 minutes. The other Focus Four Hazards must be covered for a minimum of one-half  hour each.

✅Falls (minimum 1 hour and 15 minutes)

✅Struck-By (e.g., falling objects, trucks, cranes)

✅Electrocution

✅Caught-In or Between (e.g., trench hazards, equipment)

✅Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment – 30 minutes.

Health Hazards in Construction – 30 minutes. May teach noise, hazard communication, and crystalline silica or any other  construction health hazard.

Elective 2 hours.

Must present at least two hours of training on the following topics. At least two topics must be presented. The minimum  length of any topic is one-half hour.

Optional 1 hour.

Worst accident in the history of the oil field (Piper Alpha) was responsible for the  death of over 100 lives was because of a failed PTW!

The Air hoist is a necessary piece of equipment to lift/move light loads, and could be  hazardous if the operator is not properly trained.

This work shop will handle all the necessary information and requirements to safely  operate an air hoist.

Throughout our industry, over 60% or more of all High Potential incidents (including  those where personnel were not actually exposed) are dropped object related. This course gives the awareness of potential dropped objects and current best prac-  tices for securing them and working with tools and equipment at heights as well,  the program is based upon Industry and DROPS Forum lessons learned and associ-  ated best practices.

Scope:

The Risk Assessment workshop is designed to make the employees understand the  concepts behind evaluating risks; what is a calculated risk and what is an unmanaged risk.
