Well Control Events, Definitions, Barrier Envelope, Risk Management and Management of Change  Causes of Kicks, Kick Warning Signs and Indications, Shut In Procedures, Shut In Pressure  Observation, Leak-Off Test / MAASP, Choke Line Friction Pressure and Riser margin Kill Handling  Methods

Overview:

This course is designed for personnel involved in drilling and well control operations on offshore  drilling installations and onshore rigs.

Level 3 (Driller) and Level 4 (Supervisor) well control training is provided for surface and/or subsea  stack. This course has 2, timed, written test, for either Surface or Surface & Subsea stack certification.

Our instructors are fully certified by IWCF and the course complies with IWCF requirements. All  course records and student certificates are properly maintained to meet IWCF regulations. Drilling  simulators are utilized in all learning centers and courses can be delivered on your location.

Overview:

The certification standards in our programme are based on the pressure control knowledge  required by service equipment operators and supervisory personnel in their jobs. These standards  have been devised so that the measurement of candidate’s knowledge can be assessed systemati-  cally.

The following certification options are provided and are made up of compulsory and optional com-  ponents:

✅Completion Operations (compulsory)

✅Coiled Tubing Operations (optional)

✅Snubbing Operations (optional)

✅Completion Equipment (compulsory)

✅Wireline Operations (optional)

Candidates must attempt both compulsary components and one or more optional component in  a combined certification programme. However, to obtain a combined certificate, candidates must  pass each component they have been nominated for.

LTS was built on the VARK approach of psychology of learning, It refers to the four learning styles:  Visual, Auditory, Reading/writing preference, Kinesthetic.

The idea is simply having a live and interactive video connection with the participants in which we  present the material and build dialogues around it.

This course is designed to reach multiple levels at both the rig site and office. Introducing High  Pressure and High Temperature scenarios to the crews allow for your team to identify the  challenges created in an HPHT well in both the drilling and well control environment. This course  takes a very practical approach to the communication challenges involved in a HPHT situation.

The course focuses on recognizing and understanding indicators of critical well conditions and  developing response plans that often require complex solutions.

The HPHT course is generally customized for a particular operator, drilling rig, and well specific  personnel. It provides an excellent form for discussion and planning by the office and rig-based  team.

TRUE Training contains 12 modules which provides the framework for the course. TRUE can be used  separately to provide a basic level of understanding about downhole drilling operations.

TRUE was designed for operator, drilling contractor, and service company personnel. The handbook  is pocket size, rig site durable, graphic, multiple checklists, and is easily understood. The rig team  conducts a self-assessment of the well plan by preparing written action plans to mitigate potential  problems.

A common language is established, rig team members buy-in to the well plan and are assigned  specific responsibilities. The action plans are used during the pre-tour meeting to alert the rig team  to upcoming problems.

This Course Covers the Following:

This course covers fundamental and supervisory level technical overview of drilling operations,  completion practices and post-completion wellbore enhancement or remedial workover tech-  niques. Training is designed for Rig Crew members, Floorhands, Derrickman, AD, driller, Toolpusher,  Supervisors, Service hands and Operator Representatives.
